Bird Board Classifieds welcomes everyone to place FREE for sale and wanted ads and yes you read correctly FREE. But before you enter the classifieds area we must make sure you understand the rules by which our classifieds area is governed are understood. These rules are in place for one reason only, so that they run smoothly without problems.

If any such ads break our guidelines, both admins / moderators may freeze, delete, modify any such ads at their own discretion. If an ad raises questions and or no rule is set to govern such an issue, please contact us for a clarification and allow for ample time to respond. These issues will be debated among admins/moderators for clarification.

You agree to hold BirdBoard.com legally harmless of any problems that should arise from entering a private party or 3rd party business agreements via Bird Board Classifieds.

Bird Board does not allow any of the following items to be advertsied on bird board classifieds. The items are as follows: Bird Eggs, Unweaned Babies, Taxidermy, ***

You are more than welcome to post bird wanted ads, however free bird wanted (aka "bird begging") ads will not be allowed. We believe that if one can't afford a bird, they probably can't afford the upkeep and related expenses involved and its for that reason.

Breeders are welcome to post ads, so long as they follow the terms which we set. If they wish to highlight or bold their listing it will cost them a nominal fee to stand out.

Any used equipment must be in good working order and safe for birds.

Please do not repeat the same ad for at least 5 business days.

BirdBoard insists that listings and transactions comply with the laws of the countries where both the buyers, and sellers reside. Members are responsible for ensuring that their transactions are lawful in both countries. BirdBoard strongly suggests that members educate themselves about the laws of their own country and the countries where they plan to do business.

BirdBoard strongly supports the efforts of the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) to protect consumers against potentially hazardous goods. BirdBoard does not permit the listing of items that have been identified by the CPSC as hazardous to consumers and therefore subject to a recall.

If a seller fails to deliver an item for which payment was accepted;
Upon concrete evidence bird board will give a grace period for the
seller to remedy the situation; If such action is not made, The Seller will
no longer be welcome to solicit on BirdBoard.com

A person suspended from BirdBoard.com loses all membership privileges. A suspended individual is not permitted to participate on the BirdBoard site using any existing account, or to register new accounts with BirdBoard. A suspension from BirdBoard may be for a fixed length of time, indefinite, or permanent. Suspensions remain in effect until removed and approved by BirdBoard Admins.

We disclose limited personal contact information to verified requests by law enforcement and government officials who conduct criminal investigations, and require a subpoena for additional personal information.

If a advertiser breaks the rules setforth by BirdBoard.com, all prepaid advertising fees and or promotional expenses will be forfeited.

If you need clarification and or want to suggest a rule that should be directed to cover an issue, not currently addressed please contact an admin or moderator. Please allow ample time for us to address the situation and debate it.

** Foreign Certified Check Scam **

If you receive a reply from a foreign buyer offering to pay you via a certified check,
BEWARE. It may be counterfeit, even if at first it clears your bank. Be especially
suspicious if the check is for MORE than the amount, and they ask you to send the
overpayment back to them. It is illegal to export birds out of the country without
a USDA permit which YOU must get and is only given for special reasons.
