One year ago today,our Cockatoo,Cassie,flew up to Rainbow Bridge. Her light,her energy, live on in my heart. There are people who say "It's just a bird". I feel sorry for those people.They have never had their soul be touched by these wonderful creatures,else,they wouldn't say that. I'll end with what I always used to say to Cassie,when we went to bed at night...Be a good bird...Daddy loves you...

I agree, if they ever felt the love of a feathered friend they would not say that. I am sorry for your loss, and happy Cassie had you and you her.

Sounds like Cassie was much loved while on this earth. She's a lucky Too. I also can't understand when folk say 'it's just a bird'. They know not what they're missing.

Hi, just want to say I'm so sorry that you lost Cassie.. A few days ago I also lost my Prcko and I know exactly what your going through atm so again sorry for your loss, losing thes angels is never and never will be easy :(((

As for those that say just a bird, I can only tell you dont bother spending to much thought about them.
