Sadly she has continued to pluck and now is basically a wingless and featherless little baby (but i still love her). Btw, she is female and I did get her vet checked and everything is ok, just a plucker
I had a plucking parrotlet and found the only solution to this issue (parrotlets do have a tendency to pluck) was to ensure that he was busy almost all of his waking hours - then he would forget that he wanted to pluck. I had a hamster wheel in the cage for exercise (he would run on it) and many, many, many foraging and other toys. It did help, but unless I was there to supervise, there were still times I would find a number of feathers at the bottom of his cage.
