While making my usual birdie bread, instead of 1 Cup of dry baby cereal I used 3/4 cup of cereal and about 1/4 cup of milled flaxseed for gee whiz. It was a tad bit dry, so I added a bit of orange juice, 1/4 cup at the most. It turned out the same as usual. Then I was reading up on the benefits of flaxseed and really glad I did it. High in Omega 3 which has been known to counter act Omega 6 fat found in lots of seeds. Other benefits too plus it is supposed to taste good. They didn't seem to notice any difference. So I'm glad I did a little change in the recipe. I use the Bobbi's Birdie Bread recipe from the book "The love of Greys" by Bobbi Brinkman. Let me know if you want a copy. My fids LOVE it. You sure can hide a lot of veggies in that they wouldn't eat otherwise.
