I really think it's amazing that you take her to work! Absolutely wonderful =) BTW Lovebirds tend to reserve that behavior for a certain time of day, so you're not going to see it in the evening.

Reserving a certain time for her little chatter would explain why she doesn't do it at night, but she does do it at home on the weekends because she's here during the day. I'll be talking to my daughter, and she'll say, boy is Tango chatty today. My daughte r is waiting to get a Blue headed Pionus from a breeder in Arizona. They have to be 13 to 15 months old before they can be weened, so it will be the end of July before she/he arrives. We're both looking forward to that.

You're such a good lovebird owner! And I bet your customer do miss her when you don't bring her in. You're right about giving her a long nights sleep, it's very good for her, especially since she's a girl. Your daughter must be dying of anticiaption for her bird, what a long wait!
I haven't had much time to take pics much less post them really, but when I do I'll post some =)

I even have a small travel cage so I can take her over to my daughter's once in awhile. My daughter wanted a female Pionus. The first one they sexed was a male. She just found out that the 2nd one they had sexed is a girl. She is so excited that she is getting her "Lucy". Pionus' are suppose to be very comical and for some reason even before these were hatched, she wanted to name a girl Lucy after the I Love Lucy show.

Your daughter sounds like a riot.
Yeah, I love it when they cock their head so you can get them just right...like a tiny cat or dog =)
