Actually my cousin asked me to find it. She used to have one but it was died several months ago. She really likes and loves this kind of bird, Gang-gang cockatoo.
Since her bird death, she’s been feeling depressed and searching for a new one. I want to help her and have a hope that you all here can help her and me to have one.
Well, the Gang-gang cockatoo is an Australian bird and mostly found in south east of Australia. The main feature is that the male has a red head and crest
while the female has a small fluffy grey crest. I know that it’s illegal to buy a cockatoo in Australia and even export it but it’s too difficult to find and buy it
from a pet shop in my own country, Thailand.
Anyone please please direct me the place where I can buy.
Thanks very much.

#1 I contacted a friend of mine here in Vegas who is worldwide known as being one of the top trainers of super-rare parrots and also raptors. His comment was, "they are rare but still available in Thailand with a little bit of research"
#2 The same guy suggested that this could easily be a shipping scam of some sort.
#3 The same guy says that exporting from the USA is almost impossible and even if possible is VERY, VERY expensive. His comment was, "he'd get the bird at half the price if he found a grey market dealer in Thailand".
So based on this I'm going to suggest that the OP do some more research in Thailand, it's not impossible to get them thru legitimate means, and would be a LOT easier than trying to get one from the USA.

Also thank you so much, Jeremy G. Your information is so useful but could you tell me more where I can buy and to whom I contact
if you said that they are available in Thailand??
And many thank to Jmfleish for your great info. Their price is too high. Is it difficult to ship the Gang-gang cockatoo from USA to Thailand?
An Aussie people told me that I may purchase from Indonesia but he doesn't know who sells them. Does anyone know who in Indonesia sells this bird?
Thanks very much....!!!

Simply, you can get gang-gangs there, if you look. The thing is, the more rare a bird is, the more secretive the breeders are, and they are also very selective. Nobody's going to sell you a bird "for your cousin".
