Recessive pied male budgies keep a pink cere throughout their entire lifespan. A recessive pied hen will still get a white, white with blue/tan, tan or crusty brown cere.

Female juvenile budgie's cere at first pale blue, then white, then browning & darkening, then finally brown.
Juvenile budgies start body moult at 70-75 days old, by shedding juvenile nape, cheek patch, forehead feathers and wing moult at 90-100 days old, and take 110-120 days to renew body feathers and 8 primary feathers. Longest primary feathers 9th take 28-30 days to regrow.
