A family needs to rehome their 20 year old eclectus. I hope to get him here later this week, but shipping this time of year concerns me. He is leaving a from a small airport, and arriving at a small one as well. The time from the terminal to the plane will be on the order of a minute.
He is connecting in Minneapolis, where the distance between planes is unpredictable and might mean several minutes outside. It is supposed to be sunny, little wind, in the low 30's when he is there.
Do you think he'll be able to tolerate the trip?
The carrier door will be covered. Any other advice for helping keep him warm during the trip?
