Thinking about an IRN.. I need some help?

The point of this whole story is to propose my problem- The local petstore which is as most are a miserable disaster has an IRN. They've had her for a year+ and I just can't feel anything but guilt when I go to the store. No one wants to spend 300 on a green bird who hisses when you go near the cage. She isn't tame. She's aggresive and mean, but even if I couldn't tame her I'd like her to be mine.
It's just I don't have the money really for that sort of investment and I don't even know anything about the species.
Just help me make up my mind?
I know I can't save every bird in the world, but I could save this one.. I mean she's in a 10x15 cage with one toy on an all seed diet on the bottom shelf in a wire cage (Rambles). I don't normally get like this but it doesn't seem right that a terrified bird has to live in a brightly, loud, and crowded petstore..

I cant stand going into pet shops over here cos most of the time it breaks my heart. Im also a rat lover as well as IRN's and some of the conditions that the rats are kept in make me want to just yell and scream at the staff. Its the same for some of the birds altho in saying that most are now starting to keep their birds in big aviaries which is much better I guess.
Good luck getting this girl and hope you are able to tame her down and she becomes a wonderful loving friend

Either way, it's not an easy choice. If the conditions are really bad, then report the shop. Something may, or may not, change. You can only hope.

I'm going to take your advise and look into the laws, hoping that perhaps they'll at least move her off a seed diet and offer her a larger cage in the back as they do for the larger birds. (Their macaws and cockatoos get great service) First of course, I'll write a strongly worded letter asking them to change it-- the employees are sweet, owner not so much. :/
I've talked it out so that when I have 400 saved up or so I'll look into purchasing her if she's still around. If not then I'll probably look for a handraised chick. In the meanwhile I suppose I'll go to the petco instead its twice as much but the conditions are much better.
Thanks guys, I suppose I shall research some IRN to pass some time while on the bus~
Thank you all xD

I do wish you the best of luck in your endeavor!

Still I'll see if I can do anything for them, I'd really appreciate if they didn't keep as many as 15 parakeets in a 10x15 cage maybe that's something I can talk to them about.
