Long-time Board Lurker and Dove/Pigeon Enthusiast

I've been a member to the Bird Board community for some time; but up until now, have mostly lurked. I thought I'd give my introduction. I'm a memorabilia collector and run sites which showcase those collections.
I am also an enthusiast of doves and pigeons and run a separate site for like-minded dove and pigeon people called DOVEBOOK; the site also owns and operates several external Dove and Pigeon groups around the world wide web.
I'm owned by Paz, a Pink Pied Ringneck Dove, who's been my companion for the past several years. Other household companions include ghost shrimp, otocinclus catfish, and a java moss; all in a freshwater aquarium set-up.
I also wanted to point out that I used to have a few Crested Society Finches, a couple of Zebra Finches, and a Parakeet; all when I was younger. Now, I just have the one bird.
But, I've been thinking about also housing society finches, in particular cresteds, again; they are such fascinating little birds! I've also been thinking about adding another ringneck dove to our family, preferably an adopted one as some animal shelters get those every now and then. I'm currently saving up for this, and planning the time to devote to it. I express this not only in regards to gradually introducing new birds into my home by first keeping them in quarantine for a few weeks and taking other related precautions, but also because of the need to socialize a new dove and have Paz become accustomed to him/her in the same cage space.
I'm looking forward to networking with other Dove and Pigeon bird enthusiasts here on Bird Board.
