So yesterday as my fionce and I had Rue out on our shoulders, Rue discovered his new favorite toy, our eyeglasses! He has tried to take them off us before, but never like this, he was practically climbing on my face to get a better angle to bite them from! I don't mind it, I'm just concerned about letting him play with them for the obvious reasons of a bird chewing metal. I want to make it so that if he plays with my glasses he won't get sick, and he won't ruin my glasses lol! I was thinking of slipping some untreated wooden beads on the arms, is this a good idea?and if so, what kinds of wood are ok for cockatiels? Any ideas or opinions would be great!

Sounds like a plan! I have little bells from toys that I got him (I always switch out the new bell with his favorite old bell ) so I'll have to put them on a necklace for him <3 he has been such a sweet boy and I love him lots, I just want him to have fun!
