my sun conure needs advice

my sun conure is 40 days old...and i have 3 questions if anyone could kindly answer...
1. his bum is not entirely clean...it doesnt have full feathers there yet as he is 40 days old...but the feathers that are there are a little green, possibly some filth hangs on when he defecates...is that normal or should he have a completly clean bum at this age?
2. today when i placed him in a room with gas heather, he started panting in a crazy manner, i quicky switched off the heather and opened the door and window and fed him a few drops of water, the panting slowed but didnt stop completely...what should i do? though sometimes he stops panting and starts stretching his wings...
3. what should the poop of 40 day old sun conure look like?
thx is advance for the kind help...

Adult parrots, in general, have trouble with too much heat and pant if it is too hot.

I do know that feathers sticking to a birds rump could be a potential sign of illness in adults, so I would have some concern there. Abnormally green droppings (i.e. bright green instead of dark green) is also a sign of illness.
I don't believe that most gas heaters are an issue unless they contain PTFE. If they do, then they are dangerous and should not be used.
Sorry, not really much help here... if you are concerned, it doesn't help to get him/her checked out by an avian vet!
