i have a pair of parrotlets 2 eggs hatched 10 & 8 days ago was going to pull to handfed in 2 days and to my surprize the 3 egg hatched today ( 8 days later ). so my question is will the parents take care of one baby or will i need to pull all at a later date? i can handfeed day old chicks but i'd rather not as i feel its best for the baby to spend the 10- 14 days with the parents.

The parents should be able to take care of the lone chick once you pull the two older chicks. Some breeders actually suggest leaving at least one chick with the parents every clutch, or at least 1 chick per year for them to raise on their own.
