Medication and sneezing

Plz help here.. my doc didnt tell me how to do it

If you are struggling to get a bird to take medications, it's easy for the meds to go in there, which will result in sneezing and the meds coming out the nostrils. You can try mixing the meds with something your tiel likes (greek yogurt, organic baby food, honey, on toast, etc) to try and get your bird to consume it rather than sneeze it...
I have the same problem with my bourke parakeet... once getting so much that she was blowing bubbles out her nose! It didn't matter how careful I was, it happened almost every single time.

Its supposed to be raspberry apple flavored i guess not causemy tiel runs from it.

A bird should be given a tasty, warm treat, often enough to keep him/her interested in the syringe, long after weaning. If they are used to receiving treats that way now and then, it wont be so traumatic when the need for medicating arises. He will slurp it right down, no questions asked.
I hope his sneezing isn't a bad reaction to the med. Or an allergy.
My birds enjoy free flight outdoors.
