Hello, if anyone knows what type of bird this is please help me!

I got 2 birds from a breeder and he said they were both Lovebirds.
But this one looks, acts, and sounds more like a Green Cheek Conure to me.
He might not be, but I just definitely don't think it's a Lovebird...?

Please help! :)

Knowing the weight of the bird may help, although it would be best to wait until the chick has feathered out more to be sure.

Have you compared the noises of your birds to those of chicks on Youtube or other video websites?

I have re registered due to technical problems. My user name was ROYJOY since 11-06, Now it's RoyJoy2 since 7-12. If you're looking at my post count, add 4,015 to the count shown.

My birds enjoy free flight outdoors.

I've tried, and I do think it sounds like the cry of a Green Cheek, but then again that's the only one I've really tried cause idk what else he might be.

At first we thought maybe a Caique but he's too small. Caique's are usually a little bigger, similar in size to a Sun Conure. Plus he doesn't cry like a Caique or have a dark beak like a Sun. So both of those are out.
He's definitely not a Cockatiel cause they have a pretty distinct cry.

Idk what else he might be...I doubt a breeder would make such a big mistake especially since they're a big difference money wise.
But they just look/act totally different, here's a picture of them together.
The one with the orange beak is definitely a Lovebird.

LOL! Well, they certainly don't look to be the same species! If the breeder has green cheek conures as well, you probably are right!

I thought love birds started out with a dark beak that turns light after they have feathered out.

In the conure section there is a sticky on Green Cheeks from Day 3 to weening... Have a look at the pics. http://birdboard.com...n-cheek-conure/
