You should read up as much as you can before you ever let your birds breed. If they did breed and there are eggs, and the eggs are fertile, then yes, the parents or mother will take care of the chicks on their own... How do you think they raise chicks in the wild??? (this is discluding some birds who lay eggs in other birds nests and never raise any chicks of their own...)

Make sure that you are feeding them a varied diet, including fruits and veggies daily. Check out Feisty Feathers for articles on breeding, rearing of chicks, feeding, etc.
In your profile, it says that you are a student, so I am curious as to your age, if you don't mind me asking, and what do you plan on doing with the chicks??

i am from bangladesh. i know my bird's house looks funny.
but here this is rademate home for this kind of bird.
i am thinking of making some woden house for my birds and theie babys.
one thing one of my baby bird's head is not right direction. i am thinking this happen in that small house. now i put them all in a white long foam.
i don't know this is right or wrong. but i think they get more space and air to grow normally.
