Anyone tried making pinatas?

Maybe, a decorated paper bag (lunch size?) with treats in it, tied up with a string?
Thats what I do. I fill one bag full of shredded colored paper, treats, wood pieces, curled straws, etc. Then I tie that bag up and put it inside another lunch bag then hang it in their cages. My guys like these more than the store bought pinatas.

After it's dry, start adding strips of different colored tissue also run through the starch. Do it in layers, letting each layer dry. You can build onto the shape as you decide.
Once it's to where you want it to be, and totally dry, pop the balloon(s) and remove them. Stuff the open cavities with whatever you want, and hang where there is easy access for the bird.
For the cost of one pinata from a store, you can make 6-8 on your own.
