Yes, the horse market is zero for a seller. There was just a 9 month old colt that was rescued in my area of the country that was rescued at -30 because the people could no longer feed him. It is sad but the poor thing did not make it.

I do agree with 4hand, the least expensive part of owning a horse is the purchase price. The rest is all in feed, tack, farrier, vetting etc. Birds are nothing compared to large animals.

He is gorgeous!!! One day when I hit the lottery LOL, I want a horse.
That's what I'm waiting for! I moving farther out and getting horses too. I had several growing up and I want to have more some day.
Baylor is very nice looking! I had a qtr horse that I could ride english or western and being english I could ride her without any tack at all ... amazing.

Does anyone on here board their horses anywhere and what was your experience with that? I live in the city and am thinking about bringing my horse down here but he'd have to be boarded and I'm not sure what to think about that yet.
