Hey Green Wing dreamer...I got mine from Birdloversonly rescue in Indiana (home of Snowball the dancing cockatoo). And truly, she lights up my life. You actually can find them in rescue. You just have to be patient and keep on looking.

By the way, Irena Schultz and Birdloversonly is an EXCELLENT rescue. Anyone looking to adopt a bird...check them out!

Here is a not so perfect picture of Captain's face. He was too busy playing to take a better picture.

This thread was started feb, 2009. Is it still viable? or just a place to view our gorgeous Macaws? I loved all the pictures, whether the thread is still needed or not. :)

Awww, she really looks like a pretty, demure girl. Did you get her blood work done to see if she is really a girl? I can look at most dogs in the face and know if they are boy or girl...most of the time. And for the last 5 yrs. or so I've been paying more attention to what the faces of birds look like as far as masculinity and feminine goes. But this little girlie looks so much like an angel. And one more question, is Savannah's voice higher than any of the other females of this breed? She reallly seems so dainty in this pic. Awesome picture too.
The more bird and dog and cat....ect...that I learn to speak............the less I understand human...
