Was thinking of trying BCF. I just don't trust the staff to be able to tell me if it's treated. Hence the asking if anyone has found any untreated bird safe rope

And as for any other toy parts, well good luck cuz I haven't found any! Nothing that isn't obscenely overpriced anyway! Best off making your own. I make my own toys. I saw a little jingly thing with beads and a bell for $17, and I made about 4 of the same for that price! Such a rip off.

Parrot Rescue Centre
My Parrot Shop is a little pricey but these guys know their stuff when it comes to supply safe and interesting toys. Caroline one of the owners has a series of articles going in the Parrot Society magazine on toys and safety atm. I know you've mentioned MPS but thought I'd put this stuff up for other Aussies looking too.

There's also an Ebay shop, can't remember the name off the top of my head but will look it up sometime today. I wasn't happy with the leather thread that I got from her, just didn't seem up to quality with PRC and MPS.
I have birds, that's probably why I'm here
Need more species icons.
Any complaints and the bug is back.....

I've now bought from both MPS and PRC. Both very fasy postage I can't believe how much I spend on that bird... lol About 70 dollars last week. Hopefully it'll last a while though
I went to bunnings, but it appears all their ropes are treated, which makes sense, as it's used for hardware purposes mostly. I did email one of the companies last week, asking if they treated their products, but no one ever replied, so I just bought some cotten rope for PRC
Bunnings however did have stainless steel screws! Yay! Am making a playgym.
