If I had the funds, time and a different living situation, I might consider breeding on a small scale. Brotogeris parakeets, half-moon conures or lineolated parakeets, most likely.
Pickle, Golden-winged parakeet (brotogeris). DOH 3/22/08.
Beetle, Peach-faced lovebird (agapornis). 8/6/05 - 8/28/07. Always in my heart.

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul.
And sings the tune
Without the words,
And never stops at all.

Thank you Teresa for the beautiful Siggie!

I do have a couple young turquoise mutation green cheek pairs for sale. I have bred U2's, G2's, Pionus, Senegals, Meyer's, Red Bellies, CAG's, Timneh Greys, Green cheek conures, lineolated parakeets, lovebirds (although not in the last 3 years), and parrotlets. I have handfed more species than I've raised including the large macaws, lories, caiques, to name a few. I know I'm going to miss it alot, but we are moving next year and also want to be able to travel without having to take a brooder of babies wherever we go.
