If you are collecting them from yards be certain no pesticides or herbicides are used in the area. Otherwise, it's safer to grow them yourself (inside! invasive species!!) or to purchase them from the grocery store.

You can buy dandilion leaves at some better produce departments for salad - did you know that?
I never knew that they sell those things. It's nice to know that.
I never use pesticides or herbicides in my yard. I love birds and squirrels and always have food for them in the yard. Thanks for the advise though.
