I have been looking at how i can make a sleeping hut for my birds. I have purchased several and they just dont last. In no time they are in threads. I cleaned out a plastic coffee container soaked in soapy water for a while to get the coffee smell out.Cut the other end open. Found this foam tape in the garage(someone's going to be looking for it shortly and i swear i did not see it haahahahha) Lined the inside with the tape for softness. Sewed the fabric and here you have it. I have not hung it in the cage yet have been playing with the bird so she wont be afraid when i do hang it.

Now that is cool. What type of bird is sleeping in that bed?
The bottom is wider than a perch right so they can rest off there feet and kinna nest down right?
Love it what about poop though?

and he waits till morning to poop, he doesn't get to play in it, he goes in Right at bed time (with a tiny nightlite) and comes down for breakfast soon as we all get up.
