Beautiful horse! I love his markings on his face - very striking. I've had a couple ex-race horses. They are always good for a surprise - just when you think you've got them figured out, they drop the next bomb and you think "When did he learn that?!" (some good, some not so good, LOL!).
No denying that they are an athletic bunch though. I love TB's, wish I was a quiet enough rider to own one. But I tend to overdo my riding, which has always made the TB's slightly nutso. My current horse is very forgiving and prefers a lot of leg, a lot of bridle .... so we're a perfect pair!
Hope your back heals fast and you get back in the saddle soon!
Why thank you! and that's awesome, and yeah haha I've had that with a few ex-racers before! lol. Yeah I'm definitely the horse addict in my family, and TB's have to be my favorite all-time breed! I want to open up a racing facility one day, keep it around my area or near a nice, small track! I think racing made TB's my favorite breed, they're so spunky and full of energy and are fast even off the track too! I had him at almost
full gallop about 2 weeks ago before I found out about my back injury. Thank you, I know I'll definitely be getting back into it as soon as I heal - if this back brace works of course. Luckily I can still go and see him and walk him around, he loves the attention and just hangin' out! Plus I get to teach my mom a thing or two about him
