I got her last week after she had a visit to Susan Clubb for a complete check-up and testing. She's currently now in quarantine at an off-site location, but near my place. She'll be there for 60 days and will undergo additional testing. BUT, I had to take some photos So here they are, they are not terrific, as she's in a temporary cage with an ugly surrounding, but it's the bird, not the surroundings I wanted to capture! She is a Lutino Dusky Pionus.
She was born in 2008, out of a random pairing of unrelated normal dusky pionus. According the person I got her from, the parents had produced for years, yet she is the first lutino they ever produced. they have not produced another lutino since.
