I was a bit unsure whether to post this question here or in macaw land so I will do both.
I am currently the mommy of a 1.25 yr old IRN ( Indian Ring Neck) named Baby. She is a pretty good bird though she tends to be nippy at times. She doesnt like to be pet but loves to be fed so she does some tricks.
My mother made one of my wishes come true this week, and I will be bringing home a baby blue and gold macaw, which Im going to name Marley. Marley (BG) still needs to be hand-fed. Im worried about Baby (IRN) and how she is going to react upon the new arrival. BTW. Baby gets about 6 hours of out of the cage time, and she is very healthy. This is not going to change by no means. But it could mean that she would get even more time if the reactions are positive. Any ideas?
IRN mommy recently became a macaw mommy...I need some advice
