48 hours, toe nails, and harnesses

Rudie was the best. As soon as toweled her she just lay there and let me do it. No fuss or anything! Nothing like Louie who balls up his little feet so I can't get at his nails.
Also, after a snafoo with her harness yesterday, I decided to try it again today. This time, I calmed her down by putting her on her back and covering her eyes (which she likes for some reason). She let the harness go on without a hitch and stayed in it without picking it for over an hour as we walked around the house.
Here she is eating some Bird St. Bistro:

I'm jealous you can do her nail AND put a harness on it! douglas won't let me do either! LOL.
Awww sooo cute!! <3 seems like she is settling in so well! Like she's been living there her whole life!

After reading about all these cockatoos biting other birds and cracking beaks, I am totally paranoid to introduce Rudie to the ekkies. Chloe is very curious about her and tries to get close. I always end up pulling Rudie away. Chloe does not look mad, just curious. Rudie is so little and I am so scared....

What a pretty bird she is! I love when they are eating and their beaks are all covered in food! She looks very happy!
