Is a Quaker what I want for a bird for my family?

I have on my list so far:
Conure (Green Cheek, or crimson bellied?)
And of course a Cockatiel
I am looking for some of the following qualities:
Good with younger kids
Can be noisy in a chirping or talking way, but not screaming much!
so not a screamer basically
Loves to be held/handled
looks forward to seeing us and being out of cage
not very big
sweet and lovable
good with house guests/strangers
Will let the kids take it out and hold it on their own.
Become close to the kids.
That's all I can think of right now. Anything you can think of?
I fell in love with 4 quakers today. Now I am trying to choose between a quaker and a Green Cheeked Conure. I REALLY like the quakers I just don't know anything about them.

My Tiel tries to nip but is not mean, and my green cheek has never ever even tried to bite me, but he is skittish and not cuddly...an exception to the rule I've heard.

By the way, those 3 birds you mentioned belong to 3 different species. They are not breeds.
