Grover, my 1.5 year old eckie, had her wings clipped when we got her a year ago. Her wings have now fully grown out and she's taken to flying around the house. Initially I didn't have a problem with this because we have a safe house where she won't fly into anything. Then we came inside one day and found that she'd flown across to one of our timber blinds and used that as a perch while she chewed our cornice. Yes, she chewed our cornice! I would like to clip her wings just a little bit (I still want her to be able to get up off the ground if she needs, but I don't want her to be able to fly quite so well anymore). She's quite sensitive about her wings and doesn't let me touch them very much. This presents a problem as I don't know how I can clip her wings without emotionally scarring her for life (having to restrain her in a towel or something). If anyone has any 'nice' ways I could gently clip her wings, or have her let me handle her wings, I'd love to hear it.
Also, can anyone recommend any particular toys? Grover loves anything with a bell but has worn out most of the toys we've gotten her and we've exhausted the variety that's in the local pet shop, so I'm looking for an online store.
Thanks in advance
