After my daughter died in a car crash, my husband suggested that I get a African Grey parrot to take my mind off the loss of my daughter. Now after 7 years, my parrot accidently flew out of our house. Our hearts were broken. And then it was so cold and raining for 3 days after that. I would wake up at night and wonder whether he went to somebody. Whether he is out in the cold and rain, or whether he is save with somebody who cares for him. Now after 9 days, and searching all the trees and putting pamphlets in all the post boxes. And also looking out for him every day on my way to work. I have hope that one day, somebody is going to phone me and tell me Jurie is with them. That will be a joyous day. He has a ring
