I have one albino parakeet by the name of Budgie. I know it's a stupid name, but it fits my not-so-intelligent Budg. He's a young adult and I've had him for a week, and I'm supposed to be giving him to my uncle but... I don't know that that's going to happen. He has beautiful blue-pink nostrils and a creamy color to his feathers; very dark red eyes. A real sweetheart, he likes to perch on my glasses and use them to climb up to my hair.
In the cage with him are three finches; a society and a pair of orange weavers. They all cuddle together. The male weaver is McDreamy and the female is nameless. The society finch is tiny and acts like a baby, and I've taken to calling him a male. 'Lil Guy is Budgie's little boy and they're constantly cuddling. So cute. Budgie even protects Guy, hiding him from us and such.
I also have five cats, one of which is outside only and we're trying to find her a home. The outside one is a female named Snickerdoodle, Nikki for short. She's a real doll; all white but with calico markings on her points. Long-haired, constantly demanding attention. An excellent ratter; she's killed two rats on our back porch(she lives on there pretty much, ha ha) and probably more in our neighbors' yards. She got up on the roof a few times. =_=
Our inside cats are our babies. The oldest is a applehead bluepoint Siamese(pureblood, from a breeder and all that) named Shadow. He's my mom's baby and he sleeps in our arms; he often switches off on a day-to-day basis who he wants to sleep with.
The second oldest is a four-year-old black American shorthair named Rodeo. He's like a basketball walking around and our only inside-outside cat. I've had him for three years.
My doll is a "mutt" cat about three years old with near-perfect bluepoint Siamese markings. He thinks he's a kitten and even has a baby mewl; he's scared of everything, even hamsters, and generally hides in my room or under a table. His name is Icee Pink Godzilla the Kitten Kitten. Don't ask why. But, we usually just call him Kitten Kitten. Again, I don't know why. Anyway, he comes when he's called(like a dog), can open doors and cabinets, knows how to hook your hand with his paw when your eating and steal your food, he keeps his claws sheathed to the best of his abilities at all times, knows what "bedtime" means and runs up the stairs when I call for him, and he's prone to glaring.
And last but not least, Lily von Stoope. She's a spunky, tiny cat about a year and a half old with a bobbed tail and spots combined with Siamese-like markings. She's always running around and playing with Kitten Kitten, and she's the only cat of ours that's not fixed. Neither her nor Kitten Kitten are declawed, either; I found out how they declawed them and decided to never put my babies through that.
I have a lot of dwarf hamsters in a continuously growing cage. The main ones are... Inappropriately named so I'll go with what they're proper names are.
The male is Fluff Balls of Fire who is fat, fluffy and lazy. The two females are Tasmanian Devil Queen and the sweet little Bluebell Nut. There's also the still-baby Runty and Hammy. Hammy is the biggest baby; Runty is the smallest. Runty is the only one with a different coloration; he's got a black base cose with a spine-stripe and white belly/paws/ears while the rest are tan with a stripe down their spine and a white underbelly.
And, finally, we have Professor Curls. He's a five foot Dumerils (sp?) boa we were given by a friend. He's actually my mom's boyfriend's. We want to get rid of him in favor of lizards or birds; we don't like snakes.
What other type of pets do you own?
