I have just inherited a young (about a year old) Green Cheek. We have had him for about a month. He is very happy, and we give him a good amount of attention, and feed him a healthy diet of Harrisons fine pellets mixed with a little of dr. harvey's cockatiel mix.
Just a few days ago, we have noticed that the feathers on the back of his wings looked "chopped" almost like he is breaking them with his beak. But he is not pulling them out. He doesn't show any unhappiness or stress. We don't leave him home for really long periods of time, no more than 5 hours, and when we are home we give him alot of attention and have him out most of the time. I am not very familiar with Green Cheeks, this is the first one I have ever had. I hope someone can help.
