I live in Virginia and love the bird fair that comes here every year. i have a green cheeke conure named Rexy. we love to play tuggle-war and "here comes the spider" alot. he's still a baby so he is still learning not to bite too hard. well that's mostly me! oh, and Rexy says hi.

Hi to all, I have been on here off and on since I believe June. I am from Mt. Vernon Ohio. I just lost my oldest tiel Sunniebun. I am real down right now..I do have 1 tiel 1 too and 6 keets 3 are red rump rest just beautiful keets. I own petie pound pup and tinkerbelle a york. 1 in and out door kitty from shelter. I own fish tanks 72gal and a nano 24. I love animals and they are my company in my big ole house. Well thats me. God Bless you all. I don't know how to do pics.

I have recently moved to the Evansville IN area with my cockatoo. I've been looking for a vet that deals with big birds without any luck. Any suggestions out there?

My name is Ray and I am from Quakertown Pa. I own an African Grey congo and a Double yellow headed amazon parrot. I will post their pics and videos soon My favorite is when the african grey tells the amazon to shut up when it starts yelling at sunset. I wonder where it learned that haha

My name is Rebecca. I work at a pet store in Rockford, IL because I think most pet stores are unethical, and if people like me don't work at them, the babies will not have a very good chance of getting a good home. I'm especially protective of the birds, because most people don't think of $20 purchases as being living things. We only sell Cockatiels, Budgies, Canaries, and Finches.

I personally own Three Budgies, Sunshine, Nipper, and Chipper. They are all abandoned animals that have been left at the store by people who didn't want the responsibility anymore. In addition to the birds, I have a Guinea Pig named Starbucks, a rescued Maine Coon named Magicat, two rescued Italian Greyhounds named Vinnie and Geno, and a pound puppy named Dozer. A few months ago, I lost my whitefaced cockatiel, Lucky, to a respiratory infection she just couldn't kick. I don't know how old she was. She had been with my fiance for eight years, but he was not her first owner.

I'm from Queens, NY and have had a pair of eclectus for about 2 years now. When i got them they were already 2 years old. The male is super tame but the female is a little temperamental. Currently, i have one chick from them, but they won't feed the chicks, so i had to pull it by the end of the first day. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone because it starts with feedings every 2 hours and maintaining the temperature without a brooder requires that you check on them every half hour. If anyone can give me some advice on raising chick, i will be graceful.

I'm Tiffany from Tasmania, Australia. I currently have 1 bird, a green budgie named Tweety who now lives with my grandmother to keep her company. Tweety bites. Hard. She loves my Nan though and attempts to talk back.

Anyways, I'm getting a Pied Cockatiel friend next weekend, he's really very beautiful. I look forward to becoming a part of the board, as is everyone one else. :D
